Shelf - Smart Bookmark Dashboard is designed to work locally in your browser. The extension does not sell personal data, run advertising, use analytics trackers, or send bookmark or history data to external servers.

Data processed locally

• Bookmark titles, URLs, folder names, and folder paths
• Chrome-provided favicons for saved bookmark URLs
• Recent Chrome browsing history from the last 90 days
• Local theme and layout preferences stored by the browser

This information is used only to display the bookmark dashboard, search saved pages, group bookmarks, detect duplicates, and show local cleanup insights.

Data not collected or transferred

• Shelf does not create user accounts or require sign-in.
• Shelf does not send bookmark data or browsing history to Aibolt.
• Shelf does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or remote databases.
• Shelf does not sell, share, or transfer user data.

Permissions used

• bookmarks to read, display, search, and, after user confirmation, remove bookmarks.
• favicon to display Chrome-provided favicon images for saved pages.
• history to compare bookmarks against recent local browser history for visit insights.
• tabs to open or focus Shelf and open selected bookmark results.
